Flash is committed to:

To achieve this, Flash aims to:

1.reduce its use of energy through improvements to energy efficiency and the substitution, wherever reasonably practicable, to renewable energy sources

2.review this policy regularly to take into account changes to legislation and best practice

3.minimize waste by reducing consumption and pollution and developing effective waste-management and recycling procedures;
4.ensure that all staff are given the opportunity to take an active role in implementing and developing environmental policy

5.work with Flash suppliers to pursue good environmental practice;
6.provide facilities for cyclists and, in addition, disabled people and encourage greater use by staff of travel by foot, bicycle and public transport.

Flash has made the following achievements in this regard:

1.Water consumption – Regular review of company’s consumption to monitor any practical ways of reducing the same.

2.Gas and electricity consumption – Regular review of company’s consumption to monitor any practical ways of reducing the same.

3.Cardboard recycling – Collection points within company for disposal of cardboard waste.

4.Cleaning Products – Flash strives to use an increasing amount of environmentally friendly cleaning products.

5.Staff commitment and involvement – Flash has a designated Environmental Awareness Group which meets regularly to discuss various environmentally related issues and ways to raise staff awareness of the same.

6.Green transport – Flash actively encourages staff to cycle to work and to use public transport wherever possible. Parking and changing facilities are provided for cyclists. Staff are encouraged to utilize the London Cycle network and are enrolled in the Barclays Bike Hire Scheme. We offer Bike insurance to all staff.
